Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in The Basin

went here for Christmas lunch and totally enjoyed the meal. the service was well and the staff were cheerful. Will recommend this restraunt

One of the last great pubs with good old fashioned ways ie. bouncers aren't losers, no pokies, good nice crowd of young and old together, helpful friendly staff, nice food and a large array of drink choices.

We dined here for an early dinner starting with a dozen fresh oysters & a glass of Prosecco for golden hour. It was a lovely evening so we sat out side in the court yard & had our oysters, then got escorted to our table when our entrees were ready. It was a lovely way to start the evening. Then we shared the duck liver parfait, prawns & a tomato salad. For mains we couldn’t decide so we ended up sharing the pork belly & the barramundi which were both Devine! After all this food we had to share the basque cheese cake to top off a wonderful evening.

I love the Acorn , whenever I enter it's like a big hug , the food, service , staff and familiar patrons are all so homey, friendly and a safe place.. Awesome bands too. Maybe one negative, keep the coffee machine on a bit longer many times unable to get a coffee and still early.
