Christmas Eve is dinner will be a curated $92/per person prix fixe. Large parties of 6+ will be invited to our family friendly, buffet-style seating. Parties of 1-5 will be served a la carte in our main dining rooms. Since our early days as a tea room, we’ve been a respite for locals and visitors alike, offering a haven for conversation and memorable cuisine. The tradition continues as our culinary team has curated an inventive and elevated menu through New American cuisine while paying homage to the beloved dishes that have been served at the Tabard Inn for years.     I would have rated the noise level as excellent, but there was a wedding going on upstairs that was extremely loud, and it kind of ruined the ambiance of the quiet jazz lounge feel later in the evening. With that said, the lounge, atmosphere, music, food, service, and coziness were all perfect! We especially appreciated our server Lauren, who was so friendly and attentive. She even reserved us a table, even though they usually do not reserve tables, because we asked for a cozy corner in the lounge to celebrate our wedding and first Thanksgiving weekend as a married couple. She also brought us a celebratory dessert drink, which was delicious. We can't wait to go back, and will definitely take friends and visitors to DC. The manager, Alyshea, was amazing also!

    Amazing dining experience, but be prepared to need to hit Taco Bell on your way home. Service was fantastic and the food was amazing, but good lord my toddler eats more. We both left hungry.

    We had our Thanksgiving meal at Kingbird at the Watergate Hotel. The food was outstanding with some interesting, and very tasty, additions to the traditional holiday menu. The service as always attenttive and we never felt rushed. This was the best Thanksgiving meal in my memory! Nancy Hicks

    We were looking for something close to our hotel, what a great find. I had the lamb chops; they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband had the bolognese with fettuccine. For dessert I had Chocolate salame w/ cookie crumbs, pistachio, hazelnut, served w/ a side of gelato macchiato My husband had the Apple & cinnamon, shortbread tart, hazelnut gelato, dark chocolate, Italian meringue Both were delicious. Portions are generous, presentations were lovely and service was great.

    Three family members each enjoyed our entrees and split a salad and a dessert. We liked sitting in the comfortable booth and the service was very good. I especially liked the low noise level in the restaurant. All in all I’d recommend it for a very good meal in Georgetown DC.
