Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Springfield

The food was great. The number of dishes offered on the menu is outstanding. We had a hard time deciding what to order because there were so many choices that all sounded good. Our group of four all really enjoyed our meals.

Good menu choices; some of the food was not as flavorful as expected. Very good service. Not a quiet place for close conversations, but then again they do advertise as a dinner. I’d recommend it for a casual outing.

Overall, was enjoyable. The pork in the pork Benny was a little overdone and it could have used more hollandaise. The drinks were very good and the service was good. The waffle and fresh berries was light and tasty.

I always look forward to dinner at Il Porto when I come to Old Town. This time did not disappoint. Great specials; I had the salmon and the wine was perfect. Highly recommended - all the time!

The food and service were excellent, but the ambiance was staid. The interior decor could use use a serious updating and brightening.
