- DDavidRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoKingbird restaurant is an absolute gem, especially for anyone heading to a Kennedy Center performance. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. Our server was exceptional—not only attentive but also incredibly thoughtful about our schedule. They ensured that each course was perfectly timed, so we could enjoy a relaxed meal without worrying about missing our show. They even recommended the best walking route to the Kennedy Center, saving us at least five minutes—something we greatly appreciated! The food was outstanding. Every dish we tried was a delightful blend of flavors, showcasing the restaurant’s mastery of Italian cuisine. The fresh pasta was a particular highlight, cooked to perfection and paired with rich, satisfying sauces. The portion sizes were just right: filling but not overwhelming, leaving us satisfied without feeling uncomfortable. To top it all off, the desserts were truly amazing—a sweet conclusion to a fantastic meal. Whether you’re stopping in for a special occasion or pairing it with an evening at the Kennedy Center, Kingbird offers a dining experience you won’t forget.More infoKingbird at The Watergate HotelPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Foggy Bottom•4.2

MichaelVIPGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAs always, the Lafayette is the best place for breakfast, standing well above all others for its accommodating wait staff (today it was Kenny), pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, well prepared meals, and the wam greetings that welcome you when you arrive at the host’s desk.More infoLafayette RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown•4.8
- EErikaHawaii •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was really good. Nothing exceptional but really good. My husband had the Boeuf Bourguignon and gave it a B+. I had the Strip Au Poivre and I was a little disappointed with the “green peppercorn sauce”. The sauce was not made with cream (which is usually the traditional way). The cookie on top of the Crème Brûlée was unnecessary and didn’t taste good. The dessert would have been better served with a strawberry on top and no cookie. Service was great and our waitress was very polite and pleasant. The best part of dinner was the ambiance. It is a beautiful building!More infoJosephine - Old TownPrice: Expensive• French• Alexandria•4.7

I was so excited to be eating gluten free bread warm out of the oven which I have sadly been unable to do for years — since I’m gluten sensitive. The service was really excellent! We will be coming again! Don’t change anything! Thank you so much!More infoMazaro Italian RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• Arlington•4.4
