Best Restaurants for People Watching in Newport Beach

If I could give more than five stars to ocean 48 I absolutely would. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. Service was extraordinary from being greeted at the front door to the host stand to the servers who waited on us. We were seated in a private Booth overlooking the kitchen. So fun! For appetizers, we got the hanging bacon, which was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted and the heirloom tomato and crab salad, which was delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection and their whipped potatoes are creamy and delicious. And let’s not forget the amazing desserts. We had the peanut butter pie and the Keylime pie, and both were truly wonderful. And last, but not least the drinks,. We had cocktails and wine all in all this was a 10 star meal and we can’t wait to go back.

A good place for a meal by the bay. Easy to find parking and good service.

We had a reservation. When we arrived, they already had a table set up for us. We ordered bottomless mimosas and our glasses were never empty. The food was excellent and I would definitely come back and I would recommend this restaurant to my fiends and family.

Sat at the bar for our drinks and dinner. Had the best service. Great food. Lots of fun!

The food, service, and environment are excellent, and the price is reasonably priced. “Elle,” my server, is very friendly and knowledgeable about food selection; I always request her for her upbeat attitude. Thank you, Newport. I will see you soon!
