Best Restaurants for People Watching in Johns Island

To begin with, Bourbon & Bubbles is beautiful. The Restaurant was mentioned as a new brunch location in North Charleston. We will be building a house uptown, so we were eager to try it. There was no disappointment. From the Chardonnay shrimp cocktail to the biscuit sandwich, everything was well prepared. My wife and I had a drink called First Love. Because she is my first love, we decided to try it. Again, it was on point. I highly recommend this restaurant, can't wait to go back.

Googled a breakfast place and Virginia’s on King came up first. It did not disappoint. The food was fabulous, the service attentive, and the ambiance traditional Charleston. We will be back and bring friends. Highly recommend anything that comes with grits or get them on the side. Crab cakes were delicious, full of fresh flavor. I can’t say enough about the wait staff. Attentive without being stalkerish and just down home hospitality. Thanks VoK for a wonderful experience!

We had the fried chicken sandwich and the smash burger. Both were AMAZING. We initially had lunch Friday, with Marianne (she’s a rock star), then took friends back on Saturday. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful meal. Steak tartare/ duck/mussels were excellent Kerrigan our server was very friendly The noise level was a little high but would not stop me from going back Overall s good experience
