We are a family owned business located in the centre of York by the River Ouse. Our first visit here and could not fault the experience. My flat iron steak with side orders was perfect. Not a crumb left. Hubby’s pork cheek very tender and the beef burger did not disappoint. I finished old school with Baked Alaska the perfect end to our meal. Ronnie was our main waiter but all staff looked after us really well. Great ambience and looking forward to returning.

Our afternoon Tea was excellent. I have over my many years eaten in various places for afternoon tea but I must confess at the GRAND HOTEL, York, is most definately the best. My compliments to the chefs who prepare the food (sandwiches, scones and cakes). You can taste every flavour. Well done, you most definitely get my vote 100% and excellent value for money.

Our food was amazing! So tasty and all dietary requirements met including a last minute change from the chef which gave me great confidence that my needs were met re CC. The venue was very busy but we were seated promptly and never had to wait for food or drinks. A lovely evening!
