Best Restaurants for Groups in Lake Sarasota

Sage is probably the most beautiful restaurant in Sarasota or its environs, and the professionalism of the staff is the highest level we have seen in the area. Unlike most joints which stop serving by 9:00 PM, Sage serves dinner until 10:00 PM on weekdays and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, with last reservation at 9:30. We walked there in 4 minutes from seeing the Ballet at the Sarasota Opera House, and I called ahead to say the performance was delayed (it was an actual world premiere). Bless them, they kept the kitchen open just for us, the last diners, and we had the best after-theatre experience since we've lived in Florida, like the old days when we lived on the Upper West Side and went to Lincoln Center.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Dinner was delicious. Of course it never disappoints! The restaurant was full, but noise level was moderate due to the three different levels. Our waiter was David one of the bar tenders. Very helpful, considerate and cheerful! Would love to request him again. Will be going back for sure

Great food - Grouper was amazing. Everything is well prepared, generous portions, and the tableside prep of the 1905 salad and pitcher of sangria is fun. Great quality, reasonably priced, and very consistent.

Every second was fabulous!! The service, the food, cocktails were absolutely divine! We were very disappointed in the attire of some of the patrons!! T shirts and gym shorts do not belong in a fine dining restaurant of your caliber! I do not want your image to fall to the beach going mentality!! Thank you for asking for our opinions!

Great energetic atmosphere. There were lots of families with small children, as well as all other age groups. Outdoor seating had colorful seating tables, a large rectangular fire pit with plenty of seating around it. Long outdoor bar with TV's. The food is scratch made and delicious.
