Butera's Restaurant of Sayville is a full service, fine dining "Family-Style" Italian restaurant serving seafood, steaks, veal, chicken and pastas dishes. "Family-style" dining affords groups the opportunity to sample many dishes at one time. We also serve individual portions upon request. We have a full bar and extensive wine list as well as an assortment of homemade desserts. There is sidewalk seating in beautiful downtown Sayville when the weather permits. Our lounge dining room provides private dining for groups of 25 - 40. We also cater larger parties in our other two dining rooms. Off-premise catering is a specialty of Butera's. We ordered four different entrees all all four were superb. The salads were delicious with simple olive oil & vinegar dressings. The bread basket was very good & our drinks as well. A very nice evening to dine out at a very fine restaurant.

As always, the food and service were wonderful! Kelly, our server, was attentive and friendly and we never waited for drink refills. Both specials and menu favorites were delicious with generous portions.

The view, as promised, is beautiful. Food is excellent. I had the calamari appetizer, which was just the right level of spicy, and the shrimp Cobb salad, with a fabulous chocolate martini for dessert. Our waitress was affable and efficient.
