Best Restaurants for Groups in Towcester

Great service from delightful, attentive , lovely characterful building with great atmosphere - lively so not so suitable for a really intimate meal perhaps but perfect for our visit. Only teeny suggestion is the gnocchi I had the sauce was a bit Luke warm and maybe not as seasoned as I’d like but overall delicious. Looking forward to returning in a the future (first visit). Also the ladies toilets were heated ! one of my absolute pet peeves eating out is freezing cold facilities - a remarkably common occurrence 😂

We had a lovely meal but there was a mix up over the early bird offer. We were told that only the dishes in boxes on the menu were for the special offer and so we ordered from that selection. Once we had the bill we realised this was incorrect. The manager reduced the bill a little bit and apologised, but I felt we had been misled and were out of pocket. So make sure you are clear what dishes are part of the early bird offer.

Our first time at the Greyhound. We both had the tasting menu which was absolutely lovely. The service is excellent, and we were looked after superbly. It was much more than a meal and more like ‘an experience’. My partner and I were amazed when we left, that we had been there for almost 4 hours. Finally, you know you’re in a place that thinks of everything when they 1. Have a presentation box with different strength reading glasses for those of us that always forget our glasses. 2. At the end of the meal, you are given a bag with 2 gift boxes with breakfast for the next day. Superb all round and we will definitely be back.
