Culinary artistry, inspired by historic Greco-Roman feasts. The Mediterranean’s finest ingredients are given centre-stage, and dishes are finished at table to theatrical acclaim. Breath-taking interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, where classical myths are retold through a modern palette of the most refined materials, and comforts to sink into. A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. We turn tables because we need to in order to survive and pay the people that make it work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a moment for your table. Our dining room has limited space and we don’t offer high chairs, so please let us know in advance if you're bringing a pram or need to adjust your booking size. Here's when we're open, so you can find what you're looking for:Weekdays: Bar 3-11pmKitchen 6-10pmWeekends: Bar 12-11pm (10pm Sunday’s)Kitchen 1-5pmKitchen is closed on Men’s Arsenal home games.

excellent food and delightful service as always. a great combination of laid back atmosphere with tasty cooking. exactly what north London requires. waiting staff are very friendly and engaged. one mild criticism is the arrival/seating process which is rather disorganised - we were eventually seated 15 mins after our reservation time but even that needed a couple of gentle reminders

Like most people I had to have the lasagne my only criticism would be was that it wasn’t piping hot but taste was amazing.

Outstanding food, service, ambiance. Classic British food, nose to tail, simply but exquisitely prepared. We started with olives and roasted bone marrow, a favourite we order whenever possible, and this was the best we’ve ever had. Accompanying parsley salad was flavourful crunchy and fresh, perfect accompaniment along sourdough toast. For mains we shared grey mullet, grilled shorthorn, white asparagus, green salad and a sublime braised mutton. Everything was superb and we were quite full but couldn’t resist dessert. Both the lemon posset and date loaf with butterscotch sauce were incredible and we ate every last bit. Service was low key excellent and very helpful as we ordered wine by the glass having over imbibed over the weekend and server recommendations were perfect.

I'd been eyeing this place since last year, but finally snagged a table for my sister's birthday last night. As a pescatarian, I was delighted by the variety of seafood dishes. The prawns were a standout. Don't let the small plates fool you, they're deceptively filling! We ordered about 1-2 dishes of each item on the £50 menu between 3 of us and were stuffed. Each dish was a flavour explosion! The chickpea curry was perfect. Our servers, were incredibly attentive and friendly. The vegetarian soup was a comforting blend, while the saltfish fritters were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. My siblings raved about the chicken soup as well!
