Best Restaurants for Groups in Little Tokyo

Went here for my birthday and also had family visiting from out of town. The food was incredible and we appreciate the servers explaining each dish as it came out. We also had a 3 year old with us and he enjoyed the gnocchi and pizza! Drinks were also delicious. The only thing we would improve is the ambiance as it was quite crowded inside and outside re: seating. If there was a way to make the restaurant more spacious so as people are going in and out of their seat they are not bumping into servers or other people dining that would be better. Other than that, we will come back because the food was fantastic!

Ridiculously inventive yet also very familiar food. The technique is astonishing. Highly recommended.

If you’re looking for a lively rooftop spot in downtown with great food and stellar service, Cabra is the place to go! Our server Dylan was warm and attentive, and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and efficient even though it was pretty busy. 10/10.

I will come back again and again and again for that branzino. It’s next level, like death row meal status. The drinks are good, but definitely heavy on the mezcal (and pre-made so no substituting). The service was great - we sat at the ceviche bar, so it was really fun to watch the chefs do their thing. The yellowtail and toro sashimis were so fresh and light, and the Magdalena had perfectly balanced flavors. Vibes were immaculate too. Can’t wait to go back!
