- DDioneVIPSan Diego •21 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOutstanding views of the Plantation golf course as well as the beach with whales jumping every five seconds to remind us how nature is so powerful! Pair that with a great holiday menu (3 courses) with plenty of options! I had the crab cakes and my husband a salad to start. Salad was light and fresh and crab cakes were flavorful and crispy. For mains, my husband had the rack of lamb and I had the macadamia nut crusted mahi. Both were delicious and came in big servings. Dessert, was the cherry of the ice cream! The best pineapple upside down cake!!! Our waiter was always on top of everything and was super sweet! We will definitely come back!More infoThe Plantation House RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Hawaiian• Kapalua•4.7

The side yard gives you great views of Kapalua Bay Beach and Moloka’i. The gentleman hosting was very thoughtful and remembered our reservation like it was his only one this evening. We were seated a side area table and treated to the wonderful sunset and sweeping views of Kapalua. The service was impeccable, with staff coming around to refill water glasses and checking on us. There was no feeling of being rushed which reminded us of dining from a time gone by. Our meals were delicious, with the Poke being created at our table. The Taro Humus was creamy and a table favorite. Our main course were equally well prepared and tasty. Overall, we found this dinner out to be the highlight of our dinner experience while on Maui. A truly spectacular dinner but an even more impressive staff. A special thank you to Miss M for taking care of us during our visit. This restaurant in West Maui is our go-to spot for both dinner and lunch, thanks to its charming ambiance and the island’s best sunset view. The nightly live Hawaiian music adds to the romantic evening outing for us. Here are some of the menu highlights and recommendations but you cannot go wrong with whatever you decide to eat there. They are all so delicious. Early Bird Dinner Specials: Available from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, featuring a salad, a main dish (choose from Mac Nut Hawaiian fish, Filet Mignon, or Sea House scampi), and a Tiramisu dessert, all for just $44. Reservations for 5:30 PM or 5:45 PM are essential as these spots fill up fast. Daily Dinner Specials: Including Lobster dinner on Tuesdays, my husband's favorite, and he thinks it is the best lobster dinner he has had. Although these specials don't come with salad or dessert, they are reasonably priced and packed with flavor. Other entrée options feature locally sourced fish and vegetarian dishes. Lunch Menu: Offers a variety of locally inspired dishes. My top pick is the Chicken Papaya Salad, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any choice. We have never tried their breakfast as we are not heavy breakfast eaters, but they have nice variety of breakfast staples with local flavors. Beyond the food, the friendly and knowledgeable servers elevate the dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting West Maui.More infoSea House Restaurant at Napili Kai Beach ResortPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Lahaina•4.6
