Callie represents Chef Travis Swikard's debut solo project after spending a decade working alongside the esteemed Chef Daniel Boulud in New York City. The restaurant’s name, "Callie," comes from the Greek word "kallos," meaning "the most beautiful," and embodies its blend of Mediterranean cuisine with local ingredients and terroir, from sea to land from San Diego, Swikard's hometown.     Bella was amazing! Our Valentines dinner was more than expected. We had a reservation that was treated with urgency and Araceli the (host) handled very well for how long the wait was. I believe the wait was over an hour from what others were saying around us. We haven’t dined here in awhile due to service and food quality..but yesterday was a huge turn around!! .We did wait over an hour for our food but we enjoyed our quality time together. Bella was the best server we ever had. Great overall communication and let us know the kitchen is backed up and suggested an appetizer. I Highly recommend her every time we will stop by again. Thank you Red Lobster for a special evening. Yes it was hectic but for us was handled very well.

    This is a 5 star experience! Our party of four tried four different cocktails, 12 different dishes and three desserts. Impossible to pick a favorite and impossible to select anything that was not exceptional. Additionally, the chef and team were super sensitive to serving any dishes that would be an allergy issue. So the food was glorious, the chef and team brilliant…yet the staff is what elevated the experience. From our two servers, their assistant, the sommelier and the front of house - one word - Brilliant. Best meal of the year winner
