Best Restaurants for Groups in Calumet Heights

We were seated 10 minutes early for our 1pm reservation. Out server arrived at our table immediately and greeted us. We put in drink orders then when she came with those we ordered our appetizer and meal. We thought it might take a bit of time as the place was full but it was all out quickly. Ordered thr pot pie and braised beef and both good. This is where service got slow but I think they seated 3 or 4 new tables in her area at once so she was busy. Ordered thr mint cheesecake and that was amazing. Bill was $80 plus tax so not really bad for 2 people to have a nice meal with drinks and dessert. The tree and Christmas decorations were beautiful and we lucked out and were seated near the tree. Will make it a tradition each year to go back. Lucked out on the reservation because we missed it when it opened. So glad we got one!

Madison was out server and she was fantastic, patient and knew her craft. The food outstanding, the services top notch, definitely a good place for dinner!

I cannot count the number of visits we've had to The Girl and the Goat, but it continues to be a favorite for both personal and professional dining. I brought three colleagues, who have never been, to the restaurant for dinner. One diner is vegetarian, but there are menu offerings and options available to provide them with enough to eat. All three were quite impressed with the food. My only complaint would be our table was right next to the kitchen, which can be loud. However, we made due, and had an enjoyable meal. Service is always very good, and the cocktails are fun. If you're interested in dining, make sure you book way ahead, as there is almost no chance to get a table day of.

Our server Doris was spot on with everything. Michele and Dawn at the front greeted us with a smile and promptly sat us. We love the food here. Steaks done perfectly! We knew it was a concert night and they get very busy, they still do their best at checking on the table getting the orders correct. Sit back relax and have no worries they have it all under control! Quality food and service. If you want something super fast eat downstairs at the grill or pizza place.
