They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. We have come here about half a dozen times and most of the time it’s a lovely experience. The oysters are always fab. The fish is always fab. Drinks are on point. The problem is often with meat dishes lacking the depth of flavor found in their seafood dishes. But it’s always a treat to end with their apple galette - best dessert ever!
