Best Restaurants for Foodies in Vista

Ok, this is not a Michelin star type of place but taken for what it is, my grades reflect it against a gastro pub-like category. On that account, everything is fantastic. Obviously the beers are great and varied but the cuisine, the service (including being able to order via QR code) and value-for-money were far better than expected. Normally I'm not big on ambience in that you can't eat and digest it but in this case, inside and outside absolutely adds to the overall experience and that starts on the walkway from the parking lot.

Once again another exceptional evening at Campfire. A delightful dining experience from beginning to end. Professional and friendly staff. Perfecting the art of delicious food and delectable seasonal drinks (Marie Calendar and Eggnog drinks I’m talking to you). We will be back!

The meal was delightful, as usual. We had the fixed price menu with the wine pairings. To our pallets, one of the wine pairings was way off. The staff bent over backwards to find a wine that we enjoyed. Almost unforgettable night.

The food and atmosphere are always a hit here. We brought family from out of town. I should have booked the Fireplace tables on the patio, but other than that, the evening was flawless. The salsa was delicious, tacos and burgers equally so. Walking to the car, you could smell the ocean on a perfect San Diego, winter night. They got us in and out in plenty of time to make our Lightscape, time slot!

This is our second time to Valentina and we’ll definitely be back! This time it was for Thanksgiving dinner and it was fantastic! Three course pre-fixe menu, but the options for the courses had a TON of variety. The ambiance, service and attention to detail was fantastic!
