José brings a fresh, modern take on regional Mexican cuisine to Dallas’ beloved Lovers/Inwood neighborhood. Inspired by the brilliant and fast-paced culinary scene in Jalisco, the restaurant captures the serendipitous connections created when culture, food, tequila and art merge into one experience. Jose’s vibrant story comes to life at every table through its chef-driven plates, craft cocktails, the ceramics crafted by its renowned namesake, José Noe Suro of Ceramica Suro and the hand-drawn mural adorning the walls with scenes of Guadalajara and Tequila, which was a collaboration between Suro and Dallas-based designer and artist Megan Reinhardt. More than a restaurant, José is a community with authentically innovative Mexican food at its heart. Helmed by award-winning Chef Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman, José’s culinary program is seasonal, inspired and ever evolving.

Beautiful restaurant that fits the cuisine equally as well. Our server was extremely well versed in the menu and paced our dinner exactly as needed. Food was outstanding and goes to show why the restaurant and the chef have the reputation that they do. Flavors we’re very well balanced and the temperatures throughout the apps, entrees and desert were precisely where they needed to be. We will be back, thank you

We eat at the sushi bar often. Oishi is our favorite sushi spot in Dallas and has been our "go to " for years. We like riceless rolls. Royce, 45, Himalayan are probably our 3 favorites but honestly we have never had anything we didn't like. Salmon tacos are really good as well as a salmon salad done on a cabbage mixture - great for lunch if you are by yourself. New to sushi - try the On The Border Roll !!!
