Patri has several meanings, in Hindi it means Pavement, in Urdu it means Track and in ancient Sanskrit its means a vessel or small furnace. The name took us back to our origins and we decided to use Pavement, Tracks, and Furnace to come up with a street food menu contains all three elements. We decided to give MASALCHI a go and were very impressed. We had ' Malgapodi Prawn Popcorns to start with then followed that with ' Rogan Josh ' and ' Chicken Makhan Masala, with ' Pulauo Rice ' , ' Aloo Jeera ' , ' Garlic & Chilli Naan Every dish was excellent in quality and quantity

Food is fantastic. Probably closer to 2 Michelin Star than it is to no stars. Quiet dining room, but nice warm cosy fire, and very friendly front of house. Set Menu also fantastic value, considering the quality and tase of the food, and the effort that goes into it.

Wonderful welcome and service attention without being too fussy. Staff always there when needed with friendly smiles and a pleasant manner. A busy restaurant without seeming so. Great staff- thank you for an excellent Christmas lunch
