Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Our welcoming and eclectic atmosphere is appropriate for almost any occasion - whether it be meeting a friend for a drink, celebrating an important event, or relaxing after work. We had such a great experience! Our waiter Nick was fantastic. Knowledgeable of the menu, patient and didn’t miss a thing. The food was as good as it always is! I can’t speak highly enough of the restaurant and the staff! Our family celebrates every special event here! Thank you guys!

Nice little find while in Pittsburgh. Got the "off menu" burger and it was killer. Spicy Crab and Potato appetizers are large and delicious.

We have been here several times before and have never been disappointed. We cannot resist the fried tofu. We also love the shrimp tempura but we skipped it this time as we wanted to also get a “large plate” entree. My wife enjoyed her teriyaki salmon. My tuna was great. We shared the salad and the pretzel dessert. I am disappointed that the miso Halibut is no longer on the menu…. We will be back though! Thank you Alec - our server.
