Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees.     10/10 experience, the service was warm and welcoming and I came in as a solo diner and they were able to make smaller portions of different apps so I could try them! The wine was excellent, the food exceeded expectations—that pan con tomate on homemade sourdough had no business blowing me away like that. Get the cake!!!!!!!

    Our waiter was very good at cuiding us through the most delicious menu, giving us great suggestions on each and every dish. The food was fantastic I’ve been to most of the best restaurants in Toronto, Montreal and New York and I must say this ranks up there with the best. Don’t forget the gelato to finish your night off. Can’t wait to come back.

    Everyone was warm and attentive and being that we were celebrating a birthday, our server delivered something special to commemorate the event! A really outstanding meal through and through. In fact, we discussed over dinner that fantastic dining experiences like you are always sure to have at The Ace are rare in Toronto these days. Happy to have been able to celebrate at The Ace, and already looking forward to being back.
