Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Hamtramck

I took a close friend there for her birthday and it was both of our first time being there. We both enjoyed our food a whole lot and we had mimosa flights with the flavors of lavender, mango, and blueberry and they were REALLY good. Highly recommended place and we’ll definitely be returning. Thanks for the great experience and delicious food! 

Nice venue, great food, good value. Food took almost an hour to come out but there was a Lions & Bills game so it was busy. Would go back, would recommend!

From first arriving and being greeted to our fabulous waitress it set the right tone. Five ladies celebrating the holidays so they were patient with us. They brought out a couple cinnamon rolls, I can see why they are a fan favorite and we each ordered a drink, my classic Bloody Mary was perfect garnished with all the fixings. We each got something different and sampled and there was not a bad meal in the order. I had the chorizo ranchero bowl, biscuits and gravy, chicken wings, chicken and waffle, corned beef and hash, and the schnitzel open face, each item was excellent in its own right, and made to perfection. We all said we will be back as this place is a hidden gem!!

Absolutely amazing service! Our server, Tyra J. was incredibly attentive, super friendly, and made our dining experience unforgettable. She had great suggestions that perfectly matched what we were looking for and ensured everything was perfect throughout the meal. Highly recommend this place, especially with such outstanding service!

We love Selden Standard, and one of our favorite restaurants in rotation. As soon as I see the agnolotti on the menu I am sure to come in!
