Located in Dallas’ newly-minted East Quarter neighborhood,National Anthem will feature a variety of riffs on classic newAmerican. The space yearns for food that touches vintage but with a modern approach. You canexpect elements of both coasts with a straight-forward Texas sensitivity, hopefully capturing thevibes of a big-city, downtown dining room.National Anthem is housed within the Magnolia Oil building located at the intersection of CommerceStreet, Jackson Street, and Cesar Chavez Boulevard. The building was originally built in 1920 by theMagnolia Petroleum Company, later renamed Mobil Oil.Fun Facts:• The triangular architechture of the building is known as a “flatiron” design.• The angles of the trianglular shape of Town Hearth and the Magnolia Oil Building are within 2degrees of one another.• From the rooftop patio, customers will have clean sight lines of Downtown, Uptown, Deep Ellum, and the Farmer’s Market.

My new favorite DFW gem! 🤍🤍🤍⚡️⚡️ Chef Logan and the GM Nick came by towards the end of our meal, and we had a lovely conversation. I adore this beautiful neighborhood spot; Bishop Arts is truly fortunate to have Pillar. I brought my friend from Houston for dinner, and we had a wonderful time! He expressed that he'd like the fried chicken and grilled leeks to be his last meal before he leaves earth!! Haha

Delicious from start to finish. Smoked salmon and blinis, avocado toast with dark bread and poached egg, (used the remaining smoked salmon on top of that), followed by profiteroles and double espressos. Wish they had dessert crepes on the menu. It was pretty loud but in fairness there was a wedding shower happening at the next table with at least a dozen awkward chittering college(?) girls drinking a little too much. But it was fun and a real surprise to have such a delicious brunch. A definite must!

I can’t get enough of this place at all. Great food, Great environment, Great Everything. I will admit I went 2-13-25 and my food was amazing until I got my southern fried chicken and it was too salty. BUT, they brought out another fresh order quickly, and it was perfect. This place is literally perfect!
