- KkarenDallas - Fort Worth •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI read about this place and it was our first meal on this visit to New Orleans. What a start to a trip! Amazing lunch. I would suggest making a reservation as it was full when we dined on a Friday. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great, tasty drinks (the Tavi Spritz is my new favorite drink) and good advice on food. We started with the half order of fried chicken hummus. Creamy hummus topped with chucks of fried chicken and amazing salsa verde. So good! The fresh pita and olive oil and spices served with it were perfect. I loved the crispy halloumi. Crispy and hot drizzled with honey and on the best citrus and nut base. Every bite was a flavor bomb. ❤️ The lamb kofta had nice char and flavor , served on some spicy spread with tomatoes and yogurt to cool it off. The sujuk pide is big. A thin bread wrapped around tender meat and cheese with tomatoes on top. Filling but so good! We didn’t have room for dessert because we enjoyed the lunch so much. I would definitely go back and try more. And more crispy halloumi!More infoShayaPrice: Expensive• Israeli• Uptown•4.9

- BBethNew Orleans / Louisiana •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoHad a 7 pm reservation on Christmas Eve. Arrived early & went to the bar. Bartender was great & so were our French 75 & Old Fashion. We were seated by 7:30 which was fine since we could see they were packed & we were enjoying talking to the bartender. Gumbo was very good & so were the Lamb & Lentils and the Salmon. I could have done with more than 1/2 of 1 fingerling potato, but let’s face it, I really didn’t need it. Dessert was Bread pudding and Crème Brûlée. Both very nice. Overall a great, relaxing experience. Service was exceptional. We’ll return for their brunch for sure.More infoApollinePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Uptown•4.7
- JJanineNew Orleans / Louisiana •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFood and service were exceptional. We had the ceviche’ and lobster ravioli appetizers then ordered Hallibut with scallops and shrimp risotto — the signature dish — and the Parmesan-crusted sheepshead with lemon butter and browned capers served either asparagus as our main courses. Everything was perfectly prepared! We ordered 3 desserts to top it all off: the salty malty ice cream pie, the white chocolate bread pudding and the chocolate mouse in a dark chocolate dome with raspberry gelee’. Perfect evening. Except for learning at the end of the night that our parking would not be validated. We were not told to bring the parking ticket to the front desk at the beginning of the night. If you go to GW Finn’s and expect to get parking validated, do not pay the garage when you park (despite the fact that all of the signs in the garage and the boots on cars are somewhat threatening in there). Instead, take your unpaid parking garage ticket directly to the front desk at the restaurant for validation with a picture of your license plate. This was the only sour note of our evening. Otherwise, it was perfect!More infoGW FinsPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• French Quarter•4.9
