Best Restaurants for Business Meals in Laurelhurst

We come here regularly because we always like the atmosphere, food quality and excellent service. We brought 4 out of town guests for dinner yesterday. One of my guests has a severe dairy sensitivity. The staff was extremely conscientious and attentive in reviewing what the kitchen could do to accommodate her including ensuring all requested dishes were both dairy free as well as having no risk of cross-contamination. This is a very important consideration for those with food sensitivity. The execution was great. I had the lamb shank which was huge and delicious. Our guests had a wonderful (and uneventful) meal. Service was immaculate, our server was attentive without hovering. She spotted an error in what we had been served before we did and had it swiftly corrected. We had the shishito peppers, geoduck, and omakase. The pacing was perfect, we were able to enjoy each part of the course without feeling rushed. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. 14/10 would recommend.

Superb, as usual. The carrot sformato was an unusual find and quite delicious. The addition of olives to the blood orange and fennel salad hit just the right acid note, Mama’s meatballs were pure beef with a strong dash of anise seed, and the accompanying marinara had been simmering for ages to pick up that deep complexity of flavors and great balance between sweet and slightly acid.

This was my third time dining at Sushi Kashiba and I will be back. Yes, it is expensive, but the food, presentation, and service are amazing. Absolutely the best dining experiences I've ever had. The servers are so professional and very attentive. They are very passionate about their work, the food they serve, and the artistry of the chefs.
