Best Restaurants for Business Meals in Brookhaven

As always everything was fantastic. We called the restaurant because we were going to be late our show ran overtime. We were told no problem our reservation is still good. Yes, the noise level last night was very high, but there was so many large families there that came from the same show, plus it’s a family restaurant noise is expected, and so nice seeing families together for a holiday dinner. My only complaint, and it’s me being old, we sat by a window and the cold air was coming through the windows and wall. Like I said I’m old and very sensitive to the cold, I just put my coat on, had a glass of wine and enjoyed my delicious meal.

Insignia once again never disappoints! Alex was an absolute pleasure as usual. The steak was cooked perfectly, the sides were delicious. The chef’s execute perfect attention to detail when they cook their amazing food! Alex always goes above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. He truly is the best of the best and an asset to this awesome restaurant! The food and the staff and the reason why Insignia is my absolute favorite restaurant on Long Island! Great experience food was perfect. Started with local oysters and the Shrimo and Lobster wontons which were crisp and had just the right amount of sauce on them. Then the wedge salad with the pungent blue cheese was a great. Finished with the NY Strip and Miso Cod. Steak was cooked exactly to temp and the cod melted in my mouth. The highlight of the night was the butternut squash side with the toasted marshmallow fluff and pecans a must try!

Our servers Kenny and Brianna were excellent. They brought a lot of energy and definitely enhanced the dining experience. They both made recommendations that turned out to be on point. The apps were tremendous, tuna tartare and lobster dumplings. We also had the Halston roll and the Holiday roll which was a special, both were off the charts. Everyone enjoyed their entrees except the bronzing which I was told was dry and an overall swing and a miss. The scampi and ribs were delicious. The PB&J desert was ridiculous.

Delicious food (as always) and the waitstaff was amazing and attentive. Thanks for a great meal!
