Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Virginia Union University

This was our first visit to The Boathouse at Rockett’s Landing and we all were very impressed! The ambience was wonderful and our hostess seated us with a river view as requeated. Our server, Badan (sp?) was so attentive and polite. The food was great and I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Disappointed in the limited menue. For an evening at Christmas, we expected a more extensive menue. Not just sandwiches.

Great food, great service, authentic Greek tastes, and large quantities at daily reasonable prices

My experience was lovely. Each item on the tray was delectable (I especially enjoyed the savories), and both teas I tried (Josephine and Georgia's Peach) were perfectly brewed and served at the ideal temperature. Staff (shout out to Ellie and Emma!) was attentive but not overbearing, and I was perfectly comfortable dining alone, without any awkwardness. The ambience was casually refined, with understated table settings that let the room and experience speak for itself. It was a bit lively, but that's on me for choosing a reservation on Saturday--I would expect similar energy at any location in the area on likely the busiest day of the week. A wonderful way to spend a rainy post-holiday afternoon. Will be recommending to friends in need of decompression.

This was a grand dining experience. The Food was delicious and hot. My server, Sean, was exemplary. Very nice time at Lemaire.
