Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Riverwoods

We celebrated a birthday yesterday and had a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious! We aren’t big on seafood so for an app we went with prosciutto wrapped mozzarella which was so good! For our entrees we went with the filet mignon with asparagus and mashed potatoes and it was perfect. We were taken care of by Michael, who was so friendly and maintained a wonderful pace for our meal. We’ll definitely be back again!

Hard to beat perfection. Morton's comes close. From the moment you walk in the door your evening festivities begin. New guests and returning regulars always feel welcome and special. It begins with Management, few do it better than Patrick. Vic our server was excellent. Other servers stop by as well to ensure that you have everything you require. The produce, seafood and steaks are top notch. The purveyor's are excellent. Truffle fries with parmesan are out of this world. Our guests always leave very impressed. Promising to take their friends back.

With so few fund dining restaurants opening at lunch now, it was a delight to find Mir a Mar still serving lunch. The food was excellent and the service warm and attentive. The ambience reminded me of so many small restaurants in France. You won’t be disappointed by choosing Miramar and enjoying an imaginary trip to France if even just for an hour or two. The diver sole and crème brûlée were fantastic.
