- NNancyVIPHouston •49 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoChef Giancarlo and his beautiful wife Lisa have created a neighborhood gem where one feels like family instead of unknown diner. The Profumata salad is as delicious as it is pretty, the "Roman-style" lamb chops flavor to die for, pastas and risottos perfect, and last night's special Dover Sole was ethereal. The waitstaff are friendly and knowledgable and make the dining experience warm and inviting. Always such a pleasure coming here!More infoAmalfi Ristorante Italiano & BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Galleria / Uptown•4.9
- WWayneHouston •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt was my first visit with a friend today at lunch. First, kudos to the owners for the restaurant design!! Loads of beautiful walnut and leather, sophisticated lighting and special features including a skylight which graze-lights the fluted walnut walls!! Service was attentive and helpful. Water glasses were always full. The menu perfectly encompasses a broad range of seafood prepared from raw to fried - even a few beef items to round out the choices. I had the Sushi-Salad - perfect portions, nicely plated and tasty!!! My friend had the Niçoise salad which also got high praise. Balboa is on my “regular” list from now on - I am a fan!!More infoBalboa Surf ClubPrice: Expensive• American• Galleria / Uptown•4.8
- KKamiVIPHouston •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe recently visited Le Jardinier in Houston to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is nestled inside the Museum of Fine Art in Houston and is small and private. It is a perfectly cozy and beautiful space. We selected the chef's 5 course dining along with the wine pairing and it was perfect. Our servers were excellent and knowledgeable with both the food and the wine. The sommelier is attentive and shared fun information regarding the different varieties of champagne and wines throughout the meal. overall, was a delightful experience and Houston is so lucky to have some Michelin star restaurants!More infoLe Jardinier - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• French• Heights / Washington•4.7
- MMMMaherHouston •3 reviews4.0Dined on 1 Dec 2023I went to lunch at Stray Horse because the JW Marriott was the venue I was attending a seminar. I arrived earlier then other attendees and the restaurant got full very quickly. I was able to get my order in before the restaurant filled up. There were four people total assisting the crowd. I have never seen anyone move as quickly and assisting everyone with their needs. Even though they were busy they made sure I was taken care of. The chef salad was exceptional. I went to eat there the next day for lunch...need I say more.More infoStray HorsePrice: Expensive• American• Galleria / Uptown•3.6
