Just two blocks from Times Square, it has been a favorite of Broadway performers, locals, and tourists for almost 50 years.We begin taking reservations seven days in advance starting at midnight online and at 11 a.m. over the phone.     This restaurant is a small jewel of the theatre district. The ambiance is consonant for theater goers, with interesting posters of so-called Broadway flops, adorning the walls. The food is tasty without being too luxurious and the service is the best I've had in all of New York City. A definite two thumbs up.

    From the host to seated us to our waiter to the busboys, everyone made us feel completely at home and welcome. Service was excellent and our every need was anticipated. My T-bone for 1 exceeded my expectations and my companion’s Lobster bisque blew them away. The chocolate soufflé was the excellent conclusion to our evening (I endorse this for any chocolate lover). The wine list was comprehensive without being overwhelming, including excellent choices at every price point. We’re looking forward to coming back often and soon.
