Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in San Mateo

EXCELLENT Thanksgiving Day brunch that had everything you would want. Turkey with all the trimmings, ham, mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, green bean casseral, pumpkin ravioli, lamb, yams, steak, prime rib, snow crabs, oysters, jumbo shrimp and various salads, cheeses and breads. The food was very tasty and the service was great. I highly recommend that you make reservations 2 months in advance, if you ever want to go for a holiday meal.

Nice time for a party of 10. We we’re running late and the staff were very gracious and understanding. Food and service was excellent.

Never had anything less than a wonderful meal here. Service is always attentive without being intrusive. And the noise level allows for conversation! Portions are good -- we both took some of our entrees home, although we did order apps and extra sides (highly recommend the Brussels sprouts chips).

I liked a lot for the restaurant. Their customer service was excellent with welcoming smiles and professional manners. A young man and young lady were pleasant. Foods were very delicious and generous portions. Especially onion gratin soup and escargot were excellent ❣️ for appetizers. And main dishes and deserts too 😋 Three of us went there for one’s birthday celebration. Anyway, we had very pleasant evening there.

Good food, homey interior, price was reasonable. The stand out was the owner who made the experience exceptional with his attentiveness and hospitality. Would go back just for him, with the food being a nice bonus. He made our experience memorable and very enjoyable.
