- BBobvipWashington, D.C. Area •95 reviews5.0Dined todayWe did a date night at Tosca and took advantage of the fresh Truffles they were featuring. This was not the typical microscopic truffle shaving you get elsewhere- they really expended some truffles. Starting with a beef carpaccio with endive and truffles- amazing. I was lucky enough to score a veal chop - perfectly prepared and portioned just right. Of course the truffles just bring out the best. The starter courses were two delightful pastas- one of which was all egg yolks- no water. Perfect. Tosca has become our #1 destination restaurant- the ambiance and service are worthy of a star or two. Jonathon and Brian really go the extra mile to make the experience memorable.More infoToscaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.8

- JJo-AnnevipWashington, D.C. Area •17 reviews5.0Dined on 13 Nov 2024We come to this restaurant before Caps games. It is very busy on game nights. But the wait staff is always wonderful and pleasant even with the chaos. The food is consistently good. The manager,Eric Pollard,is outstanding! He makes it a point to stop at all the tables but more importantly, he actually engages with the customers, and seems to truly care what they think. Since we are there fairly often, he has gotten to be familiar with us and immediately will come over and say hi. He just makes you feel important, even though there are hundreds of people within the restaurant. He is one of the reasons that we come back for every game. Leadership like his trickles down to the staff which is evident in how in turn the staff treats customers.More infoClyde's of Gallery PlacePrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.6
