- AAliciaChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe dined here on a Friday night prior to seeing a show at a nearby theatre with our tween/teen children. Everyone loved this place! The service was attentive and friendly, food recommendations were good, and the food was excellent. The prices are a bit high for the portion sizes, but it is in a busy area of the city so would be difficult to find the same quality for less. Would definitely return here again, and recommend this establishment to others!More infoMiss Ricky's TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown / Loop•4.6
- DDavidVIPChicago / Illinois •25 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoExcellent quality BBQ. Lamb ribs were very good and I’d order again. Burnt end Mac & cheese is a must every time I go to Frontier. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Really good experience overall.More infoFrontierPrice: Expensive• American• West Town•4.5
- TTheresaVIPChicago / Illinois •30 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Dec 2024My husband and I had dinner here for the first time. We were a little late for our reservation, I had called ahead to let them know and it wasn’t an issue they still held out table. My first impression was WOW beautiful! We were seated right away. We started with the garlic bread fondue and my husband had the bootlegger and I had the prohibition both drinks were delicious (since I’m competitive mine was better-haha) We each had the T-bone steak and shared the glazed carrots and cheese potatoes. The sides were very good. Now on to the steak - AMAZING!! The steaks were cooked perfectly! So delicious and it’s a big steak (go hungry). I could go on but try it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. I know the restaurant advertises as sports bar so having TVs with sports games on was no surprise. My thought was the TVs would be at the bar not around the restaurant. That was my only disappointment. So many TVs around the walls really took away from the beauty of the old Chicago photos of the theater district, the beautiful “leather” walls - the architecture of the restaurant gives you a glimpse into the past. The TVs just take away from the perfect atmosphere. We absolutely loved this restaurant!! We will be back again!More infoState and Lake Chicago TavernPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Downtown / Loop•4.2
