- AAnavipLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAlthough it was Thanksgiving we decided to order from the menu, and we have no regrets! Our wonderful waitress recommended I have the lamb chops (stating they were the best thing on the menu)…and they were superb! My husband had the surf and turf, but honestly we would order just the steak next time! We started our meal with the prawn cocktail (fabulous) and the lobster ravioli (too salty for our taste). - WWilliamvipSan Francisco Bay Area •61 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe service was stellar, the food, especially the Arancini and special pizza was excellent. My only complaint was that we were there early, only a couple other tables in the whole place had customers, but they sat another group at the closest table to us, raising the noise level significantly in our otherwise empty restaurant.More infoRevival Bar+KitchenPrice: Expensive• Californian• Berkeley•4.6
- RRonaldvipSan Francisco Bay Area •25 reviews5.0Dined on 21 Nov 2024I have eaten many meals at Zuni over decades and the quality has been amazingly consistent over that time. It’s often just what I want to eat. I had a baguette steak that reminded me of France in the 1970s. The prices have definitely increased. It’s not out of line with similar places, but it used to seem cheaper than other places of equivalent quality. No longer. It’s every bit as expensive as other fine dining places if more relaxed than some.More infoZuni CafePrice: Expensive• Modern European• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.7
- AAmySan Francisco Bay Area •8 reviews5.0Dined on 20 Nov 2024Outstanding service, delicious cuisine and comfortable setting. Every bite was a delight. There were flashing lights in the street due to an emergency vehicle and for half our meal we had to deal with this on our faces since we were seated at a window. No fault of the restaurant but it would have been nice to be offered a different table.More infoZINOPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Berkeley•4.1
- JJudivipSan Francisco Bay Area •67 reviews5.0Dined on 10 Nov 2024We come to Heroic Italian before seeing our play at Berkeley Rep and are always so glad we have chosen to eat here. The salads (this time we did the California Caprese salad - sooo good,, and enough for 2) are always hearty and original. The pinsas are a favorite -- we love the crispy crust and the fresh toppings. Serving is prompt and friendly. (and Berkely Rep patrons get a complimentary glass of Prosecco.). No wonder we keep returning!More infoHeroic Italian - BerkeleyPrice: Moderate• Italian• Berkeley•4.5
