Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Elmwood Park

They have a nice selection of interesting dishes, and most everything was really tasty. I did have a cocktail that was horrible though – a gin old-fashioned, which sounded interesting but was a murky blue green color and tasted like cleaning fluid. No one ever asked me if it was OK. And I don’t think we were over staying our expected time at the table, but at the end the server told us that the next table was ready for our spots when she brought the bill.

The food was amazing! I started with the buratta & Mediterranean salad, also had the salmon and Risotto. I tried the halibut as well all amazing. Reece was my waiter, he was 10/10 very informative and well mannered and the ambience is nice, good music, nice lighting, all the staff was very welcoming; will be going again.

Proxi's food is not only outstanding but memorable. It is rare to experience such a level of care and quality. We are grateful to have such a restaurant in Chicago.
