Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Valley Stream

I dined here for the first time last Mon, 12/30/24 with my sister & her husband plus 2 priests we were honoring. We were all very satisfied w/ the food & service. Mary Grace was an excellent server. Very pleasant & attentive w/o being obnoxious. The only negative was the sun shining directly on the eyes of one of our guests despite the curtains that were drawn down. It is a come-back place! Today, 1/3, I came back with another priest friend. We were warmly welcomed by the Asst. Manager, Dianne, who was just as friendly & cheerful as Mary Grace. I had an energetic & interesting brief chat with her before we sat. Our server, Louis, was also pleasant & efficient. I also commend the rest of the wait staff who brought our orders to the table. The food was excellent, made even more delicious by the reasonably-priced lunch special w/ complimentary appetizer & dessert, as well as the efficient service. Thank you, Park Place. Keep up the good work! My one wish is for the resto to have an eye-catching huge name at EYE LEVEL and another big sign perhaps by the parking lot fence near Miller St. Driving alone, not tall, & focused on the road last time, I could not see the sign way above the awning, much less the one just above the awning. Neither were the small signs on the front door very clear to a solo driver in the area for the 1st time. I knew I was in the place because of my GPS but not sure since I could not see the signs. I wasted time going around the block 2x to be sure I would park in the right place.

Churchill’s is a neighborhood gem in RVC. Celebrated New Years Day brunch with my family including two toddlers. Very warm and cozy atmosphere. All staff so kind and friendly. Food tasty and hot. They honor reservations. The price point is an excellent value. $7.00 brunch drink specials even on a holiday.

Great food. Great service. Great dining experience. Enjoyed everything we ordered. !Calamari. Lobster ravioli Burrata appetizer plate. Chicken Veal & fish entrees. Delicious. Even Had one of the best Cappuccinos I’ve had in long time. Of course we’ll be going back Thank you to all M Martin

This place was excellent. Stopped in randomly because they had a spot for our family of four pre-NY Islanders game. Food was great, staff were even better. More food than we knew what to do with! (UPDATE: Solved! We just ate it later, as soon as we could!) We’re staying in Jersey this week but the hour-ish sojourn to UBS Arena — and more importantly, Salvatore’s — was worth the trip. We’ll do it again next time in NYC. Pros: • Pizza, pasta, garlic knots. • Complimentary wine – yes please. • Generous, delicious portions. • Fun atmosphere, great team (thanks, Kelly!) Cons: • Caught off guard with also complimentary cranberry/vodka shots. They may have been too yummy. ;)

From start to finish ~ delicious! The staff were attentive, kind, and knowledgeable.
