Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Smithfield

Christmas Eve dinner. Festive, lively atmosphere without being too loud for easy conversation. Service was excellent, beginning with the accommodation of a late addition guest. Staff was there for every need and question yet never made us feel rushed—even though our meal went past closing. I expected great food and was not disappointed. Oysters were particularly good and French-pressed coffee always adds a great finishing touch. My teenagers had a great time and have a new appreciation for real food. Highly recommend.

We come here every Christmas Eve and our dinner is fabulous. This year instead of a carafe of red sangria, my husband and I shared a carafe of the Fall Sangria. Unfortunately it wasn’t made properly or well and it was very watered down. No Captain Morgans in it as the description stated, no cinnamon or apple taste whatsoever!! Dinner and desserts and service are always great here. Just disappointed in the sangria.

We had 7pm reservations but arrived a little early so went to the bar to order drinks and saw that there were 2 empty seats. We ended up eating at the bar. The service was great as well as the food! Everything was delicious! The young man who was bartending was very friendly and attentive.

Overall very good . A few details .Blood orange Cosmo in the bar was sour. I think proportions were off. Bartender was very upbeat and pleasant. Overall meal was very good but one guest thought the Carbonara was fine but not the best. Barrata was excellent. Pizzetta was very good but too large for an appetizer. I would note that on the menu. One guest enjoyed the feast of the seven fishes. Veal tenderloin was a probably medium as requested. I should have ordered medium rare. Pork chop was very good . Our waitress Gabrielle was excellent , personable and just the right approach for a Christmas Eve celebration.

Nice dinner for a family! Server was kind, food was great, wine selection was fun! We’d like to come back for a date night, without the toddler and check out the bourbon/cocktails!
