Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Sidney

The food is great, and the service is good. However, there’s a seating issue to note: even if you book a standard table, you may be seated outdoors unless you specifically “request” indoor seating in the OpenTable app. If you don’t make that request, there’s a big chance you’ll end up outside, even in cold weather. It would be great if the booking system with the restaurant clarified this or if staff confirmed seating preferences ahead of time.

Our party of six was served by one wonderful server, Alexis, who, we discovered later, was looking after the entire restaurant single-handedly. We were absolutely blown away. She was efficient, lovely, responsive, and always back in just the right amount of time. She never let us feel neglected or wanting. Her intuition for always providing just what was needed at the right moment was astounding. The food was absolutely delicious and everybody enjoyed all their dishes. It really was a very special meal in a very special location.

Exceptional in every way, the food service, and ambience were extraordinary, and completely worth the fair prices. Highly recommend, as one of if not the best dining experience in Vancouver. Great selection of seafood, steak cocktails, and wine.

My friend and I dined in the Winter Wonder Lounge pop-up. It was on the quieter side, which seemed normal for New Year's Day, so I was surprised by how long it took for the food to come out. Despite that, the service and food were both good--at the level expected from any Earls.

The restaurant had a casual setting. We went there for the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner buffets. The buffet had lots of options to fit everybody’s tastes. The food was excellent and the service was as well. Prices were very reasonable.
