- LLisavipPhiladelphia County •26 reviews5.0Dined todayI’ve eaten here plenty of times and have never been disappointed. Today for the first time we rented a tent to have our holiday office lunch — so worth it! Nice warm stove, very cool vibe with fabulous food and service. Will definitely do this again!More infoTerrain Cafe – Glen MillsPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Glen Mills•4.4

When we got there none of those tables were open and they had just seated someone there. We had to sit at a least preferred table so was annoyed off the bat. Tyler did an awesome job as server. Paced the food well. Kept checking on things without too over the top. Food was good. The gingerbread scones were a bit overdone but delicious. We are scheduled to go back in January. Hoping the table situation doesn’t happen again.More infoTalula’s GardenPrice: Very Expensive• American• Washington Square•4.9

Visits to other establishments over this same time period have been disappointing. Meals at these establishments were "okay" and prices were high, so we expected something special. Not at the Washington House. Food and prices are good. The Washington House offers many choices and each has a special touch - maybe the sauce, maybe the sides, maybe the entree choice. The special today was Chilean sea bass with risotto, and the other meal we had was salmon and shrimp, with Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer. All food was prepared well and the sauces were light and very tasty. We like to order something that we might not prepare at home and we were not disappointed.More infoThe Washington House - PennsylvaniaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Sellersville•4.8

We were in Center City Philadelphia to go to the Christmas Village and went there for lunch first. We sat by the window across the street from Rittenhouse Square park and it was just a perfect day. There weren’t many people there at first, but then the restaurant quickly filled up with what looked like mostly people celebrating their Christmas lunch. It was a very festive atmosphere. Parc is a great place to go around the holidays and really any time.More infoParcPrice: Expensive• French• Rittenhouse Square•4.8
- CCatherineWashington, D.C. Area •8 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoGreat appetizers and really good variety of choices. Well prepared and presented. Filet with crab and bernaise sauce was excellent and the halibut was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. There was also enough to take some home for another meal. Poached pear dessert was unbelievably scrumptious! The carrot cake was enough for 2 or 4 people but a great idea to take home for later. Nice atmosphere, but would have preferred sitting in the dining room, rather than the bar area tables. Since it was my first visit, I sat where I was seated. Overall it was a very nice dining experience and I recommend it highly and will definitely go back again.More infoBlue Bell InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Blue Bell•4.7
