Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. We each had something different , bananas foster, pancakes with apple/ cranberry crumble, seasonal vegetable scramble and every dish was welcomed wit a “oh, you have to try a bite!” Thank you, I try to bring my family once each holiday season.

We had a great time sitting at the Chef’s counter. Everything from the drinks, my wife had the Rosé and I had the Moroccan mint tea, to the incredible crispy lamb hummus with fresh hot & puffy pita, to the roasted beet salad and the lamb chops were incredible. The service was timely and the atmosphere was so lively. Really nice place to go while in Portland. Can’t wait to go back with some friends.

Delicious food, especially for the cost. The bartender was our server. Very helpful, great service. Deviled eggs are insane. Beet salad was a genius combo of flavors and the ny strip was tender and juicy. I advise getting it med or med rare.

When we travel from Seattle to Portland we always try to have a dinner at Nostrana, The food is simply prepared and perfect every time we have had dinner.
