Spinnerstown Hotel is a restaurant serving rustic local cuisine in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The dining areas of are divided into 3 parts. The first is a casual soapstone bar and wooden booth-lined taproom, with 18 rotating beers on tap and a simple, rustic atmosphere. The second is a handsomely homey dining room (sans TV) complete with a fireplace, stone walls and hand painted ceiling. The third is an outside barn-like deck with vaulted ceilings. The cuisine is simple farmhouse fare, but with its own modern twist. Diners will find house-made burgers, Belgian-style mussels and hearty entrées like the in-house butchered boneless rib eye or hand rolled gnocchi. In addition to these standards, the menu is constantly under development, using fresh, seasonal ingredients to consistently create new dishes.     We were greeted, seated and then treated to a lovely dining experience. We started with a couple of the specialty cocktails-Romarin and Nouveau Basilic: their pour was generous as our drinks lasted through our meals. A bonus of a basket of bread was brought to our table, such a rarity! Baguette, sourdough and what seamed a seasonal bread with cranberry and walnuts with beurre---seemed such a treat! Our waiter was attentive and made well informed dinner suggestions after asking us our preferences and we enjoyed the beef bourguignon; duck a l'orange and roasted chicken. Parc has made our top 10 list of places to eat while in Philly!

    The tuna special with capers and ginger was outstanding. The chicken parmigiana was very flavorful and tender. The Caesar salad was enough to share as was the chocolate mousse for our dessert. Arielle’s is one of our favor restaurants. They are consistently excellent.

    We had our first dinner here followed by a great show by Nini Iris at Sellersville Theater. Brenda provided great attention and service and we look forward to a return visit!
