Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Upton

Me and my partner went on a date night and I can not say a bad thing about the stag the staff was amazing the food 10/10 highly recommend. 

We had a minor problem with one of our meals. The way that it was dealt with went way above and beyond our expectations. The food was amazing and portion size big. We had the crispy chilli beef and Camembert to start, followed by the Skate wing and Cajun spiced flat iron steak. The crispy chilli beef tasted amazing and so fresh, the Camembert with homemade cheese straw was delicious. I had the flat iron steak and it was cooked to perfection and so tender. The skate wing was melt in the mouth amazing. We were too full to have dessert but have had one on a previous visit and they are incredible. All waiting staff and the manager were attentive and couldn’t have done more.

Very nice meal, plenty of choice. Excellent service. Will go back again.

Came to the Red lion from Cambridge in the summer and sat near the river Such a lovely setting Came back to Norwich and decided to book Sunday lunch Had the pork belly and Roast beef Have to say it’s the best roast we have had 10/10 for everything Gary and Linda Cambridge
