Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Monsey

Good food, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. We were seated near the door and when we complained, accomodations were made to alleviate the problem of cold air coming through the door.

Today the food was, as always, delicious. I had the frisée salad and a side of fries. My friend had mussels with frites. But I want to write about the great staff. EVERY person I encountered - from the maitres’d to our waiter to the support staff - was bright and cheerful and extraordinarily helpful. How can you not love a neighborhood restaurant like Cafe Luxembourg?

Dined here last night with my best friend of over 40 years. We wanted something charming and festive for the holidays, with good food and a lovely ambience. We were extremely pleased and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the drinks tasty, the service above and beyond, (attentive and thoughtful, yet not intrusive), and the atmosphere glittering and perfect for the season. While it was packed, it still didn’t feel cramped, (we had plenty of room around us), and we could easily talk while all around us engaged in their happy times, too. We had the Tuna tartare appetizer, (REALLY good!) and the Havenly chicken, which was extremely delicious. I’d recommend both! All in all, a wonderful night and we will absolutely come back! We had a very good experience being waited on by Silvia. Although the food is fairly priced, the portions are a bit too big.

Great restaurant although appetizer (Buffalo wings) did not meet standards with regards to quality of chicken (smaller sized portion of wings)
