- BBobvipVancouver / British Columbia •19 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our second time to dine at MEC; both times were excellent. The food is meant for sharing, so plates appear at the table when cooked, meaning that they aren't served together or in the order you expected. Our carrots (wonderful) were served well after other dishes had been consumed. This may be a turn-off for some. However, each plate was terrific, so the sequencing didn't matter to us. Also, the noise level is very high; probably not suitable for anyone with hearing difficulties or wanting an intimate conversation. On the other hand, it is obviously a "happening" place, so is fun if you don't mind a loud ambiance. My wife and I enjoy the diversity of plates at MEC, as well as the activity. Others may prefer more traditional servings and conversational environment.More infoMediterranean Exploration CompanyPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Northwest Portland•4.8

- CCarriePortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had breakfast/brunch. It was such a nice experience. Our server was Whitney, and she did an excellent job making sure we knew what the featured items were, tending to our table and just being really personable. We tried the French toast bites- oh my! Those are a new favorite. We shared the steak/potatoes/eggs meal, and the crab benedict. The steak was cooked just right, and there was plentiful, delicious crab in the benedict. The crab really stood out as a highlight of our meal because it was so fresh-tasting and had a good bite to it. It was a nice ambiance, with a view of the foothills, and we left happy and content.More infoJORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & SpaPrice: Very Expensive• Northwest• Newberg•4.7
- EEmilyPortland / Oregon •2 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Nov 2024Twice a year some old friends from Chicago visit their son & his family in Portland, and we always meet halfway (I live in Newport) for lunch while they're in Oregon. Over the years we've gone to many of the fine vineyards & restaurants in the wine country but always gravitate back around to Dundee Bistro, not only for its fine cuisine but also for its stylish yet comfortable ambience, its seating options (we like to be outdoors in summer, by the fireplace in winter), and its attentive but never intrusive service.More infoDundee BistroPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Dundee•4.5
