Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Laurelhurst

We come here regularly because we always like the atmosphere, food quality and excellent service. We brought 4 out of town guests for dinner yesterday. One of my guests has a severe dairy sensitivity. The staff was extremely conscientious and attentive in reviewing what the kitchen could do to accommodate her including ensuring all requested dishes were both dairy free as well as having no risk of cross-contamination. This is a very important consideration for those with food sensitivity. The execution was great. I had the lamb shank which was huge and delicious. Our guests had a wonderful (and uneventful) meal. We were looking for a cozy place to eat on a rainy Seattle evening and Single Shot did not disappoint. The food was excellent. Craft cocktails were well balanced. Service was also on point. We noticed several regulars rolling in throughout our dining experience, all who were greeted warmly from the team at Single Shot. Always a good sign!! We will definitely be back!

Superb, as usual. The carrot sformato was an unusual find and quite delicious. The addition of olives to the blood orange and fennel salad hit just the right acid note, Mama’s meatballs were pure beef with a strong dash of anise seed, and the accompanying marinara had been simmering for ages to pick up that deep complexity of flavors and great balance between sweet and slightly acid.

The mushroom risotto was incredible! The staff was amazing and super friendly.

The warm, welcoming ambience, beautifully prepared dishes, and expert service were fantastic! We also appreciated the lovely personal touches, including a complimentary birthday treat (presented on a bouquet) and a personalized birthday card signed by the staff. We can't wait to go back!
