- RRobinvipOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoEOS & NYX is off to a pretty strong start. The warm ambiance is a very pleasant surprise for downtown SJ. Food quality was excellent, with a lot of vegetarian/substitution options. The items were prepared thoughtfully with good visual appeal. Plus the complimentary “chefs kiss” little appetizer and chocolate dessert at the end were excellent. Just an observation for improvement: the staff operations team should ask about any food restrictions or allergies at the time of seating. The chefs kiss item was a beef tartare with caviar in a little cone with sesame seeds. For me this was absolutely delicious but we were also dining with a vegetarian family member who could not enjoy the chefs kiss appetizer. The staff should be upfront about asking about any dietary restrictions to improve the dining experience. Overall I would definitely come here again and would highly recommend.More infoEos & NyxPrice: Expensive• Californian• San Jose•4.6
- SSharronvipLondon •16 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoService was very good and the food was tasty. Eating outside under the heaters is better from a noise perspective. We had to cancel dessert as that portion of the dinner took way too long.More infoTerra - Eataly Silicon ValleyPrice: Expensive• Italian• Santa Clara•4.1
- SSarahvipSan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe ordered the 4 course tasting menu and enjoyed it much more than the full course tasing menu. I had the soufflé which was the best thing I’ve eaten all year filled by the wagyu steak. All wagyu is not equal and this was excellent. The desserts were so so, I had the cheesecake and my date the Brest. Both were ok but compared to the rest of the food, seemed weak. We also had the stacked potatoes with crème fraiche and chives which I loved. Ample servings, too. We love The Plumed Horse! Nice to have a good restaurant close by.More infoThe Plumed HorsePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Saratoga•4.7
- DDonnaSan Francisco Bay Area •16 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe Grand View does not disappoint. The server was engaging and very knowledgeable, fun. He was attentive and helped us with our family style serving choices. The food was fabulous—tempura calamari was the best anyone had ever eaten, the tri-color salad was fresh and flavorful, the Agnolotti della Montagna was so delicious, and the tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection, sliced, and served as the centerpiece. The perfect destination for a celebratory event at sunset.More infoGrand ViewPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• San Jose•4.6
