Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Beaufort

The food was excellent, as usual. The service was excellent. The noise level was beyond tolerable. Could not hear what anybody at our table was saying. The restaurant needs to address this problem.

Nothing but good things about the taste and quality of the food and service but definitely paid tourist prices. I would recommend only if you’re not on a budget.

Wonderful dinner with friends. Quiet ambiance so we could talk. Great wine list.

Our party of three were seated in the dining area in the front, next to the bar. I think this must be ‘overflow’? It was lively, which was to expected, but there was a loud table of four birthday revelers next to us (not in the bar) who were very loud. So this is why the noise level rating is higher than normal. We ordered small salads as starters, then enjoyed shrimp and grits, filet with truffle frites and my daughter had sashimi and the mahi roll. Everyone’s meal was delicious! Our server was great too, choosing a smooth cabernet as I requested to go with the filet. It was a excellent meal out with family. Thanks.

This is a terrific restaurant. The menu is quite basic, but everything is prepared expertly, and the staff is both welcoming and professional. Whenever we're in Charleston we never miss a visit. My faves are the local Low-Country seafood items and the filet. Again, a basic menu but all the bases are well covered. Oh... and that coconut cake. "Extraordinary" doesn't do it justice.
