- EElizabethAsheville / Western North Carolina •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoI met a friend at Tupelo Honey South at about 12:30. I had a reservation and we were seated promptly. We preferred to sit in a booth rather than the high top and the change was made with no problem. The food was fabulous (Spicy Pumpkin Bisque for me and Shrimp and Grits for my friend). The food is ALWAYS very good. DO NOT hesitate to visit Tupelo Honey!!More infoTupelo Honey - South AshevillePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Southern• Asheville•4.7
- DDebbieHawaii •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhat a fantastic place to eat! It was very busy as it was 2 days after Christmas. The filet mignon was the best I ever ate. Almost soft enough to cut with a fork. And the flavors! The "house wine" and the appetizers were also the greatest. Can't say enough good about this place.More infoThe Bistro - Biltmore EstatePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.8
- MMikeVIPAsheville / Western North Carolina •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOur party of four arrived just as The Blackbird opened at 5, as we had plans for the evening. Service was quick and good and we had a marvelous dinner in about an hour. We all loved our choices, from the veggie entree my daughter chose (and she was also happy about the wide range of gluten free options) to the pork chop and the Seafood Pirlau. There were oohs and ahs for the Smoked Gouda Sweet Potato Biscuit Pudding and the Goat Cheese Corn Pie. The top of the Pirlau was a classic mix of shrimp, mussels, sausage, and tiny crawfish, over a wonderful rice cake with a tomato-y both that made me think of Jambalaya that an old friend of mine from N'aleans used to simmer for a day before serving. Delish!More infoThe BlackbirdPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.5
