Best Organic Food Restaurants in San Carlos Park

We have eaten in Chops for 17 years and after the recent takeover the quality of the Meat deteriorated as they changed the supplier. The new owners also started charging $12 for Onion Rings and all sides so the cost of a steak dinner with 2 sides plus tip is over $100 a head !Thats Expensive. We now don’t go as often but visited last night and had the Best Steaks since the takeover. Well done. You’ve changed for the better. You now need to review the charges for Onion Rings and Sides and Chops will be full again. That’s not just my view as the restaurant was very quiet last night.

Excellent quality and service. Fresh organic ingredients prepared exceptionally well. Our go to place for healthy food and very friendly service. The manager Brett makes every effort to ensure everything is right. Well done!

Absolutely one of my favorite spots to dine. The food is amazing and so is the service. You must try. There is a little bit of everything on the menu from a huge veal chop wrapped in prosciutto and served with a luscious sauce to Cacio Pepe one of my favorites from Rome. Excellent wine list. Make reservations today you will love it.

Here are the positives: Attentive staff Delicious food Nice dish selections and unique selection of traditional Spanish desserts, hard to find outside of Spain Must Order: Iberico Ham Croquettes, octopus, skirt steak, Basque cheesecake. Food was truly impeccable. Here are the negatives: -No freedom to sit where you pick, even when you are the only party at the restaurant like it was our case. We had reservations at 4pm, no other table was occupied yet we could not pick the party of 4 table of our choice. As we were leaving(we were the only customers at the restaurant the entire time we were there) another party of 4 walked in, they also weren't allowed to pick the table they wanted to sit at. - They have the audacity to pre charge 20% gratuity and then ask for additional tipping besides the 20%. Tipping should not be enforced, and it sure should not be automatically added to a party of two adult two kids' table. this is NOT a reflection on our waitress, she was nice and attentive and she would have received a 20% tip regardless, with food as delicious as they have and staff as attentive as they have there is zero need to pre charge tip on the bill. That is something that will come naturally because they have good food and service. Overall restaurant is pleasant, food is authentic and well prepared, staff is nice and helpful. Just let me sit where I want, and leave the tip up to the customer like they are supposed to.

I had the Wagyu meatloaf, and it was OUTSTANDING. I would definitely come back.
