The food is organic and local whenever possible and all poultry and meats are from farms that treat animals humanely. The ambiance is modish but relaxed. Went for my wife’s birthday - first time. Appetizers tasted good. Tuna tartare portion far smaller than anywhere else. Venison good. Tuna in the Tuna Nicoise tasted “fishy” and cold (we ordered rare but it tasted like it just came out of the refrigerator after too many days. Pricepoint appropriate. I think there are better French restaurants to go to.

There were eight of us meeting, some of whom were coming after their book group ended. The meeting lasted longer than expected, so some folks were quite late in arriving. The restaurant was patient and we had drinks and an appetizer while waiting. Once everyone arrived, dinner was superb and the ambience and ability to converse in the back room are quite wonderful. The service, as always, was great. Alsace is our favorite restaurant. Thanks!
